Echobox Memory Vault (Echobox) is an eldercare technology company based in Calgary, Alberta, that improves the quality of care provided to Canada’s growing senior population. Their software as a service (SaaS) solution offers caregivers the opportunity to play a fulfilling role in end-of-life care by co-creating a legacy for their patient’s loved ones while building meaningful connections with their patients in engaging and life-giving ways.

Challenge

Echobox first approached Vertical Motion in 2021, after 2 years of problematic application development with a previous Calgary mobile app developer. Vertical Motion was hired by Echobox to provide expert technical support, reliable project management, fulfill software development milestones, improve existing functionality, and implement industry-standard security measures to maintain application user privacy.

Solution

Vertical Motion quickly responded to Echobox’s requests and began working with its founders to facilitate the transition between software development service providers. After the successful mobile application migration, Echobox was enrolled in our Product Launch program where we worked with its founders on business plan development, target market analysis, financial forecasting, and value proposition redefining. During this time, Echobox was also enrolled in our Grant Funding Assistance program to help acquire non-dilutive funds for future development. Thanks to the extensive planning and designing by our team of developers, designers, project managers, and business strategists, Echobox is now ready to begin the development of its new enterprise eldercare solution for healthcare workers to improve patient relations, enhance senior care, and create a lasting legacy for future generations to enjoy.
