Stream Services was redefining the way operators collected, displayed and utilized their drilling data through their innovative Electronic Drilling Recorder (EDR) products. Stream’s reliable technology monitored all critical drilling parameters in real-time and made it available to the rig floor, office, and mobile devices.

Faced with a number of performance issues and scaling hurdles, Vertical Motion converted the application over to a single unified code base and transitioned it from a native app to a progressive web application. This decision had the added benefit of creating a more nimble and responsive application for their users.
Refactoring their native application into a PWA made the application more nimble, responsive, and easier to update.
